Peter Lavelle: “The Democrats and their friends in the pliant Corporate Media clamored to have Donald Trump impeached for months. Now they are determined to slow-walk it. A winning strategy?”

Alex Christoforou: It depends on whom you are asking. If you’re looking at the Hollywood elites, the New York Wall Street elites. If you’re looking at The Squad or the radical left, they’re going to feel really good about what Nancy Pelosi did. They got their Twitter SJW points with the whole impeachment thing. But, if you look at the whole rest of the United States, people are absolutely upset with it. That is without a doubt. It’s going to harden Trump’s base. We saw that when he went to Battle Creek and did the rally. Trump didn’t even care about impeachment. He talked for a total of 45 seconds on impeachment and the rest of the time he was typical Trump. And I think you’re going to look at the independents who are going to say: “What is going on?” Nancy Pelosi was in a rush to get this on and now she wants to stall and delay it?

Peter Lavelle: “Every strategem they have used to tear this president down has only made him stronger. Now this rush to impeachment and as soon as you get to the line, you back off. There is a possibility that those articles of impeachment may NEVER be delivered to the Senate. And on top of that, Nancy Pelosi, watching the process in Congress, after all, she’s the Speaker, with Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff, how they played their own very biased game, Nancy Pelosi now wants to control the game in the Senate. That is unheard of and, of course, the Senate is not going to react.”

Dmitry Babich: “I think that Trump also made mistakes, which made this pathetic situation possible. I tend to agree with professor Stephen Cohen who basically said that when Trump felt this Russia-gate, Ukra-gate thing directed against him, his strategy was to appease them. He surrounded himself with Russophobes in the vain hope that that would appease – not even the Democrats – we know that there is a huge ultra-liberal ideology standing behind it, it’s not just the U.S. Democrats. It’s bipartisan. It’s the European Union. It’s a lot of Republicans. These are people who basically do not believe in the United States as a separate country, who believe in remaking the world on very dangerous grounds. But I think Trump is right when he is saying this in his letter to Pelosi: “Nineteen minutes after I took the oath of office, The Washington Post said that I would be under investigation. Now, after three years of unfair and unwarranted investigations, 45 million dollars spent, 18 angry Democrat prosecutors, the entire force of the FBI, you have found nothing.” So the appeasement didn’t work.”

Peter Lavelle: “This is an investigation in search of a crime. … Either you impeach or you don’t. But you can’t do what they are doing in between."

Alex Christoforou: “...The whole process is based on feelings.”
